🛒 Ingredients

🥩 For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

🥔 For the Mashed Potatoes:

  • 4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled & diced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Directions

🥔 1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

  • Place diced potatoes in a large pot of salted water.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes until tender.
  • Drain and return potatoes to the pot.
  • Add heavy cream and butter, then mash until smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Set aside and keep warm.

🥩 2. Cook the Steak Bites

  • Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.

🧄 3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic.
  • Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.

🍽️ 4. Serve

  • Serve steak bites over creamy mashed potatoes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and chives.
