🛒 Ingredients
🥩 For the Steak Bites:
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
🥔 For the Mashed Potatoes:
- 4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled & diced
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)
👩🍳 Directions
🥔 1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes
- Place diced potatoes in a large pot of salted water.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes until tender.
- Drain and return potatoes to the pot.
- Add heavy cream and butter, then mash until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Set aside and keep warm.
🥩 2. Cook the Steak Bites
- Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
🧄 3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic.
- Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
