Ingredients
2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3 large eggs (room temperature)
½ cup (120 ml) milk
⅓ cup (80 ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
1½ cups (150–180 g) shredded cheese
(Mozzarella for melt + Cheddar for flavor works best)
½ cup cooked sausage, minced beef, or chicken (optional)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1–2 tablespoons chopped parsley or herbs (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Grease a round or bundt pan.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Add flour and baking powder, mixing just until smooth.
Gently fold in cheese, cooked meat, and herbs.
Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
Optionally sprinkle extra cheese on top.
Bake 30–35 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Rest 5 minutes, unmold, slice, and enjoy warm.
Notes
Batter should be thick but pourable—don’t overmix.
Works great in bundt, loaf, or round pans.
Best served warm when the cheese is stretchy and soft.
