A simple, irresistible appetizer or side dish—crispy potato slices topped with melted cheese and crunchy bacon!
🛒 Ingredients
- 3–4 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6–8 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- Optional: chopped parsley or green onions
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prep the potatoes
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
- Slice potatoes into thick rounds (about 1–1.5 cm)
- Pat them dry with paper towels
2. Season & bake
- Place slices on a lined baking tray
- Brush with olive oil
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway
3. Add toppings
- Remove from oven
- Top each slice with shredded cheese and bacon
4. Final bake
- Return to oven for 5–8 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles
5. Serve
- Garnish with parsley or green onions
