A simple, irresistible appetizer or side dish—crispy potato slices topped with melted cheese and crunchy bacon!

🛒 Ingredients

  • 3–4 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6–8 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the potatoes

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  • Slice potatoes into thick rounds (about 1–1.5 cm)
  • Pat them dry with paper towels

2. Season & bake

  • Place slices on a lined baking tray
  • Brush with olive oil
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway

3. Add toppings

  • Remove from oven
  • Top each slice with shredded cheese and bacon

4. Final bake

  • Return to oven for 5–8 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles

5. Serve

  • Garnish with parsley or green onions
  • Serve hot and crispy 😋
